First Apostles' Doctrine Church and the Just For Jesus Ministry

June 1, 2005

I, Reverend Richard Moyer and my wife, Ruth, began our ministry at the Crenshaw Community Church in 1954. In the fall of 1954 I was ordained as pastor of the church, under the authority of the Conservative Mennonite Church. In April of 2004, I have completed 50 years as pastor of the Crenshaw Community Church in Crenshaw, PA.

On August 14, 2000 Ruth and observed our 50th wedding anniversary.  It was at this anniversary celebration that Jack had the opportunity to have his preaching experience behind the pulpit.

When Jack started his "Just For Jesus" ministry, I began attending the monthly meetings whenever I could.  As I began spending time talking Jack, listening to his messages, observing him interact with others and becoming aware of his energy, zeal and dedication to his God, it became very apparent to me that Jack Wisor was called of God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Being aware of that inner call from God, and the call from Faith Bible Fellowship Church asking Jack to serve as their pastor, it became clear to him as well that he should pursue this new avenue of ministry that had opened up to him. On January 7, 2001 Jack began preaching and serving the Faith Bible Fellowship Church. After preaching behind the pulpit, proving himself to be "approved unto God, a workman who needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth", 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV, thereby fulfilling the qualifications as Bishop over the First Apostles' Doctrine Church and Just For Jesus Ministry, under my direct guidance and supervision.
